New to this site

Hello everyone, I am new to this site and just getting back into caring about car stereo equip. I joined to get educated so I can make an informed decision about buying a new system. Found out that trying to get information from Best Buy and Circuit City is a crap shoot at best. I can not beleive how much there is to consider when buying a new HU, or speakers. I do know that sites like this are great for people like me who like to get their information (good or bad) first hand. From what I see people here are knowledgable and honest. I am going to be reading as much as possible and hopefully will be able to buy and enjoy a new system very soon.

There can be a lot of information found on this site, especially from the credible people on the boards. However, most threads contain little or no useful information if that is what you are looking for.
