New to the site

I'm pretty new to car audio so everything I currently have in my truck was installed with the assistance of friends that know what the hell their doing unlike myself, but I hope to get this down eventually.

Here is what my setup looks like:

Pioneer DEH-p740mp source..

Kenwood KAC-650 multi channel amp for the doors.

2 Alpine MRV-500's for the subs.

4 10" JL Audio subwoofers in the midgate.

I'm currently looking for a set of components for my front doors and a set of coax's for the rears...but that is another thread all together I suppose.

welcome and any questions u have put them in a search ..its very useful...

so please...if have any questions like what sub is louder than another...put it in the search....if u have questions about a certian hu put it in the search...if u have a question about what voice coils and what they mean..put it in a search...

what i suggest u do..is go to this website... http://www.bcae1.com and do some reading...alot of it...and when u come back to the forum...b4 u post read the thread first....and then post...we have alot of people saying the same thing over and over again

and when u post..please stay on topic

last but not least read the forum rules

Thanks for the welcome, I admin on a truck site so I'm well versed in online forums such as these, you don't have to worry about redundancy and silly questions.

Thanks for the link, I look forward to further educating myself and becoming more familiar. Too bad it took me 30 yrs to get around to it.
