Hello all! My name is Matt and I work for MechMan power systems. We build ultra-high output large case alternator kits for car audio competition. If anyone needs tech help or advice on 12 volt charging systems, alternators, or batteries, feel free to give me a shout. Between Dennis and I, we have over 30 years in the alternator and audio buisiness. If nobody else has an alternator for your application, we more than likely do!

For fun, I have a Silverado that I compete in local streatbeat and drive-by competitions. I run 3 Revolution 15's and an MA KL4000 with three alternators running at 18 volts.

Well, thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I whole-heartedly appologize that car audio happens to be my hobby and proffession. (like many people on this forum)

I also appologize that you don't approve of the subwoofers that I have been sponsored with. I have run high dollar Brahmas and RE's in the past, and I have the highest SPL score with the Revolutions. And as far as mentioning my company, I respond to a lot of tech questions on a dozen forums, and I just thought a little back-ground might add to the credibility of the random guy who trys to help people fix problems with their charging systems. Furthermore, there are thousands of car audio enthusiasts who simply cannot find a good alterntor solution for their application. (not everyone drives a chevy) I just thought I might be helping them out by making them aware of what we offer.

I hope the few post in this thread isn't representative of everyone on this forum...

**** people chill out, he's just trying to introduce him self and his company. wouldnt you rather know the person telling you how to solve your electrical problems (etc) isnt a complete jack *** and has been in the business for a long time. matt's the man.........i just ordered an alt from him and he was very helpful, he was so cool to me that even if the alt was a complete piece of shit id probably buy from him again. j/k his alts are top notch from what ive been hearing from others, i'll let every one know how mine is. 250 amp alt, 150 at idle, 1 year warranty , great customer service, what else can you ask for?

I actually just went to Rusty Wallace Honda (the closest Honda dealership) and they were kind enough to let me double check the specs against our unit. Or unit matches up exactly so we should be in good shape. All the EX's are the same '06 to current model year. I just wanted to double check, being as that shipping back from Hawaii isn't cheap, LOL.

We hope to have it out before the weekend.
