Also a semi-newb to car audio. I joined carstereo.com because I found it first, but they never answer posts there. This forum looks like it's set up a lot better.

Anyway I alrdy have the kenwood x990 H.U. and polk mmc6500 front and rear. I am planning on getting an Alpine pdx-4.100 to power the components. Next I was thinking about getting a JL10w7 and Alpine pdx-1.600 to power it. I have a 99' 4 door blazer, do you guys think that this set up is going to sound pretty decent. I mainly listen to classic rock, jam bands, widespread panic and such so I don't need a whole lot of bass. Mainly I want decent sq, but I usually listen to burnt mp3s and I know the quality on those aren't the greatest, so thats why I went with the mmc6500 instead of the sr6500. Bad choice?

Does anyone have any experience with these products and they're sq? Should I go with a different sub, two subs, what kind of box would be the best?
