New to the big sound.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the big car audio thing and really don't understand any of it but have made some attempts on making my own sound system.

So here is what I have so far,

A 1999 peterbilt 379L with a 63" sleeper,

Pioneer flip face head unit (looking to upgrade)

Sony 6 disc changer

2 alpine 350w amps for mids and highs

2 alpine 900w mono amps for subs

1 4 channel x-over with bass boost

3 10" alpine 2 ohm type s subs in ported enclosures

4 alpine 6" 3 way

2 6" single cone

2 4"x 6" (I think)

It sounds great but am looking to make things better. If you have any ideas feel free to let me know.

Ya it's crazy loud, well that's what everyone says anyway. I am in the middle of ripping my interior apart to put some sound deadening on the walls of the sleeper cause it is just rattling the crap out of it. As for the quality of sound it's good but I think I need to separate things alittle better with some tweets and such. I would also like more thump than boom if you know what I mean. Any combo ideas that you have would be great.
