new to rims

try some rotas, they make replicas of performance wheels (most notibly the spoon sw388 that is popular in the import community) can't find my bookmark right now, search for rota wheels, once i find my bookmark, i'll provide a link. another option is flik brand wheels available here: http://www.edgeracing.com . here's some other sites that have a lot of wheels on them

http://www.whalentire.com

http://www.discounttire.com

http://www.gotwheelsandtires.com

http://www.wheelguyz.com

http://www.wheelsboutique.com

http://www.wheelmax.com

http://www.wheelsnext.com

http://www.speedandstyle.com

http://www.cbwheels.com

also, some things you might want to look at:

1. make sure the wheel is available in your lug pattern

2. check package pricing for wheels/tires

3. check pricing for just wheels

4. make sure they will fit in your wheel wells, especially if you plan on dropping the car, check for how much clearance after your drop

5. shop around for best price, if you find them somewhere cheaper but don't trust the site, a lot of times other sites will price match.

6. before ordering, make sure that they are in fact the wheels that you want, and will be satisfied with, it gets expensive changing wheels like shirts.

i have more links for wheel sites, just have to find all of them in my bookmarks.

If your looking for better performance as well, I suggest checking how much the rims weigh if you can. less weight = better acceleration *in general*. Thats why some of these rice boys wonder why they lost .3 seconds after puttin on their 18s.

IMO i would go with 17s. I have 205/40s on mine, but i personally would go with something with a bigger sidewall maybe 205/45. I dunno 'bout anyone else, but I'm bending rims left and right over here.

what kinda rims do u have. And where do u live.

The roads are reaaaaaaaally bad here. Potholes everywhere. The county will reimburse you if you bend a rim, but it doesn't apply to aftermarket rims. Kinda crappy rule considering if you drive down 195 you are guarenteed to see atleast one nice looking car with fourways on and a flat tire.
