Hi all. Hope this is in the correct area. This is my first post. Just wanted to say hi. I am on several forums usually under the same name or Sublime or ElPogoLoco.

I drive an 02 Focus Sedan which I am designing a new set up for. The wife has an 01 Escape which the install is about to begin on.

Escape Currently has:

Alpine CDA-9827

XM

PPI 5440 Amp

Dayton RS150-4 Midbasses

Seas Neo 27 Tweets (LPG 25NFA about to be swapped in)

And I am waiting for the new ED Slim 10 for the sub.

My car is going to likely be active as well with higher power components. Right now I have an Alpine CDA-9815 with the 6 Disc MP3 CD Changer.

Also, what are you using for your active xover in the Escape? Does the PPI have bandpassable xovers built in?

The PPI is bandpassable but I was actually planning to get a new HU fo rthe Escape. I have the 9815 and like it so I want to look for the same.

As for my car, I plan on using DIY speakers with eD amps. Currently looking at the 9.4, 9.2, and 9.2x. Rest I am still planning out.
