it also depends on the interior alot too... i've seen 20% tint look darker than 5% on some vehicles.

I have 20% on the fronts and 5% in the back, doesn't look bad. Would adding some 30% to my windshield make it much darker? I have a lifetime warranty or whatever on it, some chips are coming off slightly on the inside where I don't even touch. How bad does it have to be for them to redo it, and how much would they charge me for requesting a little darker do you think if they even did.
