Yesterday i posted a thread about getting the ford festiva for my girlfriends first car and got you guys opinion on it, got what i expected, and did some more searching for cars. Heres what i got.

95 Civic 2d...needs work as you can see, i think if i could jew her down some it would be a good deal, relatively low mileage for a honda.

98 Eclipse...Appears to be in good condition, stock everything so no kid has riced it out. Says motor was redone last year too. Could be a good deal?

99 Regal...Low mileage, has a few issues but nothing a trip to the junkyard cant fix. I know buicks are reliable, especially the 3800 engines. Could be a good car.

01 Hyundai Accent...This one really caught my eye, low mileage, and a 1 owner car. Definatly the ugliest outta the group but might be the best choice. Friend of mine has a hyundai just like this he bought for the same price and hes put 60k on it already no problem. But why selling so cheap?

Let me know what you guys think. Ill be honest and say i like the eclipse the best, i think its the nicest looking one plus its a nice girly car for her. Has original everything so seems taken care of. I just wanna get the car thats gonna last her a good while with no major issues.

That honda is fishy? Cash only and must be gone by a certain date. Probably stolen. The Eclipse is riced out. Look at the stupid *** tail lights. Id go with the Regal. Those engines and trannys are good for 300,000 miles if you take care of them. And obviously Hyundai blows regardless. Thats why they always have a buy one get one free deal because nobody wants them.

ha. I think I have seen that Honda before in town.

I'd go with the eclipse, atleast its not too ugly and it has a new engine. They tend to have a few problems tho

Hyundais are cheap to start with and dont hold value well.

They have pretty decent motors and they're built like freaking tanks.

i dont know, i guess the honda is out of the picture now. I think she likes the eclipse the best, im leaning towards the buick or hyundai though. Mostly the buick, but thats kind of a grandma car idk if shed go for it, plus its burgundy

I love my Mark Viii. I picked one up for 800 dollars, but you're probably looking for something more gas efficient. I get around probably 12-15 hauling *** and about 18-20 normal, casual driving. I see your looking at a smaller, more efficient route, but i could have got a honda for the same price, although crappy one, and would not have been happy with a sluggish uncomfortable ride .
