Actually the only preview I caught when I saw The Dark Knight yesterday. I woke up from an unintentionally-long nap like 15 minutes before it started. Good thing I live about 5 blocks from the theatre. Looks like it should be good.Saw the preview in Batman and it looked like it had potential
Jonny Depp could do it.I'm more concerned about what will happen to the next Batman movie. They didn't kill off the Joker, but there's now way they can bring him back without Heath Ledger.
This is not Batman. This is the Dark Knight. The Riddler would be way more twisted just like the joker was. There's no way Jim Carrey could play him in this new series. You guys really need to stop comparing the two versions. The only thing they have in common is the name Bruce Wayne.I'm just trying to figure out what major villains are left from the comics that haven't been ruined recently. Hallie Barry killed Catwoman, Twoface is dead, I think Jim Carrey's Riddler was too recent and kind of killed the character
YupChristian Bale is a very good actor.
YupJonny Depp could do it.
I think the new Terminator movie will be good. I actually liked the last one to be honest.
It is darker, no doubt. I wouldn't mind seeing Edward Norton or Johnny Depp do the Riddler. I know there is no comparison between the new ones and the old ones. Especially the non-Michael Keaton ones. The first two (directed by Tim Burton) were a little closer in feel, but still much more cartoonish than the new ones.Jonny Depp could do it.

I agree. And the last two old ones with the glwo in the dark paint all over the city were just plain stupid. It is darker, no doubt. I wouldn't mind seeing Edward Norton or Johnny Depp do the Riddler. Oh, he'll probably get one and it will further prove what a joke the Oscars are. Watch the old original and take a close look at Nicklson. He should have gotten something for that role back in the day for sure. But I still don't see any way they could bring back the Joker without Heath Ledger. I don't know if dead people can win Oscars, but that performance definitely deserves one. Unfortunately, the Academy's anti-action movie tendencies will probably rob the man.
Oh I know. I LOVED NIcholson's Joker. But to me, this one even blows his away. I don't remember the last time I saw an actor so immersed in a character. I still wonder whether or not that might have unhinged Ledger a little.I agree. And the last two old ones with the glwo in the dark paint all over the city were just plain stupid.
