New system, help with wiring

Hey all,

I am about to install my new system. I will be running 2 10" alpine 4ohm type-r subs with Hifonics 1208D amp.

I was wondering what size wire to use ( was thinking of 2 gauge) and if there are any good kits to get for this.

Also, how to I check this when installed to ensure proper setup and avoid clipping, blowing my system out, etc?

Check out Knukonceptz.com they have good stuff. May want to just buy what you need though (there kits come with their Karma speaker wire which i am not a big fan of). As for setting up your install there isn't really any thing you can do besides set the gain to high to mess with one of the Brutus amps. Just check one of the 10000 threads on this site to find out how to set the gain.
