New Stroker subs

Good evening everyone. Does anyone have any experience with the new version of these subs? I just picked up a pair of dual 2 12's. I can't seem to find any reviews on them other than a write up on a stroker pro 15. Has any one build an enclosure for them? If so how did the sound? Thank you for your time.

Mr. Penn I did check there for a review. However no go. Well I guess i'll have to learn the hard way ha ha. Thanks I was hoping to find out if i'd be better off in a sealed or vented enclosure. I'm not an spl type person but I do like to show off here and there ha ha

Well, it depends on what you want. Every woofer, honestly, I've ever played with has performed better in regards to spl in a ported box - it's just how it works.

If you're looking more towards SQ and a flatter response - sealed or gear the ported box the best you can for the flat response. You wont get as big of a jump in SPL by doing it this way with the ported box, but youll still see an increase.

if this is your first sub then you'll be satisfied with them. People have been satisfied with Pyramid as their first sub so...

Mister Grubbs thank you for your reply. I have had many stereos installed in my vehicles and boats. This is the first time i've ever attempted to do the work myself. In saying that, I'm attempting to grasp how things are done. In reference to your comment I'm lost. How ever i'll do some research to find out exactly what and how to do as you suggested. Thank you all for you input.
