New Stereo...

Hi im new here, the name's Dylan. I drive a 1992 Mustang GT 5.0

Ive decided I'm going to get a new stereo put in my car. Ive been looking at Multimedia players. Im thinking about buying from circuit city and have them install. But does anyone think i should go with a stereo specialists? only thing is Circuit city is having sales =) Has anyone had a bad experience with circuit city?

id say with the sales going on....CC is a good choice...you have to watch shops though...sometimes they can get pretty ridiculous

the jensens are kinda cheaply built. they have an excellent picture though. i had the vm9510 for a while and had no problems, but quite a few have complained of problems with the motorized screen. i had no problems though. i only had mine for 4 months though. what i liked is that they played vcd's. i had alot of music videos in the car.

i know in my friends car the jensen screen dimmed when the voltage dropped, my pioneer 5700 doesn't at all but then again his was half as much as mine

they're ok for the money. i didn't like mine because it didn't have any kind of detachable face. crackhead field day.
