Well just a quick update...Some major changes coming this week with my stereo. Will install the Alpine H701/C701 combo, Dynaudio 3 way system that will be active (never been active, always passive with crossovers. should be interesting.)with the new Alpine Pdx 4.150. Will keep my JL 300/4. Not sure if I should bridge the JL to have 150 watts on each componet pair. Also going to add steering wheel controls. They are stock just going to add the adapter to make it work with the headunit.

Where should I run the hertz cutoff points to each amp? What to tweeters? What to the 3" and 8" midbass and JL sub console stealthbox?

Lots of fun coming this week. I will keep you posted.

Yes, I actually have 2 pair. One that was going into the front dash initally, then I did not like them when compared to the focals they went in the back doors...Brand new set still in box and have never been out of the box $199 shipped. Will take paypal. The other pair I am going to leave in the back doors for my daughter to listen when a dvd is playing. (So it won't be so loud in the front)

nice set-up. enventhough the truck looks slick lowered, It looked good stock height. And about the Focals, In order to appreciate and get the most of them, the 75wrms the JL is providing is not enought to get the most of them. Run at leat 100wrms and you'll hear the difference, from experience. bridge the amp and get another amp for the rear speakers. try it & you'll see. nice install

I have always liked the focals. Just going to a 8" midbass in the door and 3" in the dash. Will see which tweeters I like best the dynaudios or focals??? The 150 watts on each set of speakers should be plenty to drive them properly. Also, with everything I have read saying to get the best sound you need to go active that is the second reason for the 3 way plus the sub with the sound processor

Sorry I'm not much f a fan of lowering vehicles, but still looks real good with good setup and equipment.

i like the truck lowered and stock height, just think with it lowered it needs bigger rims. but nice system.

The orginal wheels were 20's, the new ones are 22". It was as big as I could go without getting a 25 series tire, -a true rubberband.
