Im looking for some components to put up front in my 2004 dodge ram 1500. Im almost positive their 6.5 inch speakers. My budget is probably about 150-250 maybe more if someone convinces me on a line of speakers.

Im thinking about one of the sundown amps to power these unless someone else has a bettet option. I already have a sundown mono amp so i was just looking to stay with them.

Ive read reviews and threads for the past 2 weeks about speakers but wanted to make my own to see what some people thought.

Anybody have any choices, last night i turned my sub off and my door speakers literally have no bass at all it sounded like **** so i wanna buy these as soon as possible.

The sundown is fine if you want to match up the sub amp. Really need to know what you listen to and what you want out of them. IE loud, sq, midbass most important, natural sound, high top end, harsh, etc. Also a rundown of the rest of your system would be helpful as well.

I mostly listen to rap because i love the bass, occasionally i listen to country and some rock every now and then. Mostly want i want is to be able to hear my highs over my subs but not have to depend soley on subs to produce the bass because right now my speakers in the doors are lacking any type of bass. Im not to big into harsh highs so really a more natural sound is better yet i want to be able to push them pretty good and loud.

Crescendo may work out good for you. They get pretty loud but aren't real harsh up top and $50 under budget.

Focals are pretty harsh up top until you get over about $450. They can be eq'd out to sound good though. They do get loud but the midbass really isn't there until after $450 as well, compared to other comps in their specific price range.

HAT imagines are close to the top of your budget. They are natural sounding. No harshness and more midbass than most well over their price range. There are several reviews of them pitted against $450 comps and beating them. Just type Hybrid audio technologies imagine or hat imagine review in your search engine.
