IF your score drops because of sound deadening, it only means that your system is not properly tuned.I'd just be scared to apply it, my score drops, and I have no way of getting it back off.
Sound deadening should be applied before the box is built and before you figure out the resonant frequency of the car.
Tune your box according to the resonant frequency of the car AFTER the sound deadening is applied and you will not have to worry about a drop in score.
If you see a drop it is becuase your box is tuned with the resonant frequency of the undeadened car.
