so i should expect to read something about si everytime you post?

I was using SI because it is a brand I know a lot about.

How about this then. The nex xxx I don't think is going to be worth the $700 price tag. For that Price I think it makes more sense to buy 2 of another sub, such as the Adire Brahmas.

Another person asked if they thought it would be worth it if it hit 150 db's in a decent box.

I am thinking it will be an amazing sub and was counting on it hitting atleast 150db's in a good enclosure. Still I don't think it is worth it. Why? Because other subs will outperform that for the money. An old brahma 15 is capable of hitting 150 db's in a good box. I could get 2 of those for the price of one of the new xxx.

Some of you are asking how can you tell when you have never heard a new xxx? Well there is no sure way of knowing for sure. Everything I said has been my opinion. Also, from hearing the older xxx's and and knowing a little about subwoofers in general, I just don't think they can be that much better than the old xxx's.

This is just my 2 cents and none of you have to agree with it.

I don't know about you guys, but $700+ is a bit pricey for just a driver. Reguardless how good the speaker is. I take a full setup (comps, amps, wires, and a 15" SX) over a single XXX anyday.

and you know they're $700 for direct sales? am i ASSuming correctly?

Basically what I was thinking...

Judging by the amount of people *****ing about the direct price, I'd say that's a fair estimate even if the XXX's actually are leagues beyond with the Mag can do.

People can ***** about their price...but anyone who doubts their performance is an assclown. You'll always have people that are willing to drop money on a good product...as long as it performs.

Basically, what I'm saying, is why don't the handfull of you assclowns wait until it is actually released, and do some research from there on out. If the general consensus is that it's not living up to its pricetag, then ***** and moan.

If it does, either buy one and be happy, or stop whining and save up some ****ing money and stop being cheap.
