i dunno what the big deal is with "RE never answers the phone!" ........everytime i call i get someone the first time. hell i even talk to scott everytime upon request. the austrailian dude!

every time ive tried to call i have a hell of a time trying to get through

one of the times i actually did get through there was like a baby or something just SCREAMING in the background, it was annoying as hell.

wow bro, take the **** out of your ***, i was talking about the past products REaudio has put out, i have experience with the SX12, the XXX15, and RE8, and MT 18, i know they make gooood shit, so i'd only imagine the new stuff to be as good, if not better.

if all that matters is a pretty excursion picture to you with no idea of it's application abilities, what can get louder (I bet that thing has the Sd of a normal 10" sub), etc.

either way I hope you like it... hopefully it won't be a disappointment... but at least be smart and wait for some freaking fraking specs

Wow, and I thought this thread was gonna have at least some decent information. I took the time to read the WHOLE thing up to this point.

I wish RE would keep the existing line up, but just add to it. Let us keep the XXX the same, and have this new RE XXX a new sub alltogether like the MX is. But they are too close to releasing them now to change anything.

As you might could tell, I am a huge suporter of RE. I am not excited about them trying to go all public though. For them, its good, for us, it sucks. And I am just sad that ther are going to override there ever so famous XXX (the most popular line of sub from them). I think it would be much better to keep several different subs available, so people can have a ton of options to match their styles, intrests, budgets, SQL vs SPL, that kind of stuff.

Maybe they will still make an oldschool XXX when I get enough saved up to buy 2 12"s.

Anotherthing I hope from them is a site that is a little more updated, and more often.

And when I call RE, ive only had to try a maxiumum of 3 times to get ahold of them, and ive called them at least 7 times or more (for a specific purpose) Most times I wanted to know sumthin and I called, I got through the 1st time. Never had any problems with their customer service.

There, thats what I think of old RE, present RE, and near future RE.

I think you need to take the time to pull the RE dick out of your mouth. You still know absolutely jack shit about the MX, or any of their new product line-up. Their products of the past and your experience with them does not change that fact.

So, back to my [extremely valid] questions that you are obviously unable to answer;

Really? And what exactly would that product sound like? Go ahead, describe the MX's sound for me. What type of box would it be best in? Power handling? What would you compare it's output to based on your personal listening experience? What are the subwoofers T/S specs?

450 is not alot to spend on a subwoofer of this caliber, i'd spend 450 on a brand new XXX from 2 years ago, if they still made them.

if the SX was 450 for the 18, i'm sure it'd still sell, obviously not to you though, becasue you're poor, or haven't ever used RE, or something like that, so i think you should just mosey on out of here.
