Height/Weight: The ideal height for adult male German Shepherds is 25 in (64 cm) at the shoulder and weight ranges from 75-80 lb
He's pretty big because he was the only one in the litter that survived (first time mother). His dad isn't fat he's just a big dog. I'll try to get pics of him.that dog looks older than 8 weeks...and a German shep that weighs 170 pounds is grossly obese...
looks like a nice dog though...what did you pay?
my friend had one from europe and it was a purebred WKC certifed. friggin thing was huge. it was probably as tall as a greatdane, which i couldnt beleive it was purebred. and it weighed about 160LBS @ 15 months no fat at all it was skinny as shit.Height/Weight: The ideal height for adult male German Shepherds is 25 in (64 cm) at the shoulder and weight ranges from 75-80 lb
I dunno..my parents raised German sheps for about 10 years and I don't think any of them ever weighed less than 100lbs full grown. Usually between 120 & 140. I haven't seen this pups dad on a scale to verify but he's quite a bit taller than an average shepherd. He doesn't look the least bit fat though.still 170 seems stretching it..id have to see that shit on a vets scale to believe it actually weighs 170 and isn't just a big fatty..
there are not alot of dogs that really weigh 170 pounds, like meant to carry it...not just overweight..and i wouldn't put German sheps in the 'giant breed' category..
lawl.I had a german shepard (he was a cross though) he was awesome, kick *** dog dude.
