I will be wrapping it with a complete layer of murdermat more than likely lol.
It is very stable until you get within an inch or two from the end of the tubes, then she gets slightly loose, but still holds itself up and what not.

It slides very smoothly and the flares and exceptional of course!

How will coating it with a sticky butyl adhesive allow it to be adjustable?

I won't be adjusting it ever most likely.

Because, as you've deduced, covering it with deadener would render that aspect un-usable.

I told him I didn't care if it was adjustable or not when I bought.

looks good also looks like it might have took a slight bend? did the box get dropped? beauty of that is that it being metal it would just bend back but if it were plastic you would be waiting for another one because it would be broken ;-)

i wish you would have said u wanted it deadened i would have do that for you with psychoacoustics deadener ...... but you really shouldn't need any deadener the resonance of a tube that diameter out of metal would be in the thousands of hz not the same resonance as the air inside of it

@whitedragon551 if you were to deaden it you wouldn't cover both ends when its extended you compress it and cover the outer pipe duhhh lol ...... then if you are really in need you can cover the inside of the inner pipe. ;-)
