Just a quick question...

Whenever you do make a mold like that how do you usually get the rings at the same angle?

By the eye?

Eyeball is the only way to get them to look right - you can measure them and have them the 'same' and..they don't look right at all

I always set one ring and get it how i want it and then it took me about 2 hours of small adjustments to get them to match (bend this, tweak this...cut new strip of wood..different angle...etc)
