New Pioneer Premier PRS amps

Greetings -

I'm interested in user feedback on the new ICE Power Class D amps that Pioneer has out. Particularly if they are putting out rated power and if you've noticed the improved efficiency in your system?

I'm thinking about getting the two channel and the four channel. Aesthetically they look quite nice.

I had one of the older PRS amps and I really liked it. So I'm naturally curious about these....especially since the Eclipse XA and the Alpine PDX amps are so popular.

Compared to the PDX 2.150, the PRSD2100 does the same amount of power in 2 channel stereo, but twice the power mono (150x2; 600x1). Plus it's less than 2" longer than the PDX...and those a pretty small to begin with. Good news for a sub amp.

As far as 4 channels go, the XA4000 does double what the 4100 can do (125x4 vs 75x4) and that extra power would be good on my fronts. But the extra power will cost about $50 more.
