anyone see the new pimp my ride? (video clip at the bottom)
87 K-5 blazer. they did 6 of these subs:
http://www.jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=P1222&cat=SUB&ser=POS&language=ENG&country=US&region=USA
in a wall. the wall was a bandpass box. sealed rear chamber and plexi front chamber slot ported to 38Hz. powering the subs was this:

6000W amp! it is HUGE. if you see the episode you'll realize how big it is. also 3 or 4 other jbl amps which did another 6000W according to mad mike.
the whole dash, doors and cargo area (behind the wall aka amp rack) were all custum fabricated fiberglass. they also had a 30" flip up tv out the back hatch and two 7" screens on the mudflaps!
all that and a nice looking paint job and it was a pretty nice ride. i think my favorite so far. it was the type of truck you'd see at a car show (spl comp) and be really impressed by. the only real gimmick (other than the monitors in the mudflaps was a snowmaker out the top). they even put a monitor in a snowboard for him!
if you haven't seen it, it's worth checking out. i love having tivo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

video clip of pretty much everything you'd want to see:
(wall build, amp rack build, 4 yellow tops, wiring, sub vids, etc)
(you have to click 'more' on the top right episode and the click on 'some serious bass')
