well it will be 500hz and up... under that you run into xmax and the FR droops.

Granted at 170dB the FR would be completely screwed up on the top end due to phase distortion... I don't think you will be hearing much for long though if you listen to your music at 170dB.

Drop it down to 160dB or so and the phase issues should correct mostly... or raise the highpass to 1 or 1.5 khz... ethr way

Just the thermal power handling rly... a good deal of xmax too considering… not promising any exact number... however for now lets be safe and just say it will be better than 10kW and less than 10MW -- it is all about how well we can isolate the magnets to keep them from demagnetizing due to the temperature.

The TAD 4" berrylium horn's max SPL is 140db... and it's only 111db/w.... not to mention HP is around 1.5khz with 100w power handling

this is 122db/w, 165db with 5kw of power... power handling around what 300 of those TAD's is... and it's right around the same price... and uses XBL2

no power compression till 5kw or so
