new need help please

hello, im needing some help,

1) im trying to get in to competting spl

i have 1200 for amp/s, sub/s, box,

itll go in a 94 explorer

ive watched vids on youtube itd be cool to hit 140-160?

2) whaT SHOULD I GET?

3) how do they determin stock 0-600, and 601-1800?

can i put sound dampening in?

can i upgrade my battery?

and put in a second to mach?

can i put in a biger alternator?

upgrade your electrical with a batt under the hood and a h/o alternator. do the big 3, run 1/0 awg for wiring, see how much you have left and invest in a nice sub of 2 and a beefy amp. then get a custom box from someone like pro rabbit to match. do some sound deadening and ur good to go. ( in a nut shell )

i have money set aside for that stuff, i just need to know if i can put it in and stay in stock class, and how do you figure the classes

i have someone that can run the wire and instal deadining andeverything, they suggested that i came her for advice onwhat run to compete,

the 1200 is for box, sub/s, amp/s

they also said i might want to look at running two amps instead of one said it could be cheaper

Even though you'e got an Exploder, you're not going to get too loud on $1200.

Id suggest getting with some local bassheads and get them to help you out if your really serious. Sounds like you're trying to compete in USACi as well.
