Are you sure you have the right Metallica?

This song is decent, but it's nowhere NEAR sounding like either one of those albums.

Metallica's getting old, and it shows in their music.

Name one rock band whos music didn't change as they got older

of couse not to mention metal/rock music has also change a good deal since there earlier albums

I hope it sounds better on the CD than on that Windows Media Player preview.

Sounds like the recording engineer recorded it too hot, sounds distorted.

Yeah, I hear ya.

Most of the rock/metal bands I listen to, I liked their first/second album the best, and then from there, they just went too far off in a different direction for my tastes. It's the nature of the beast(music business), I guess.

Yeah, I hear ya.
Most of the rock/metal bands I listen to, I liked their first/second album the best, and then from there, they just went too far off in a different direction for my tastes. It's the nature of the beast(music business), I guess.

I can't say i dislike there new music, and I'm not able to listen to the new single at the moment I have to wait til i get home, It almost seems like a lot of people refer there new music like a movie sequel.

I have to say I'm not very impressed. It sounds better than anything off of Anger (which sucks balls so that isn't saying much) but not much better than Load and Reload. It does however sound closer to the older STYLE than the past 3 albums have. But all in all I probably won't own this CD unless I hear some better songs than that from it.

All in all I've had a bad taste in my mouth for Metallica since the Napster thing. Greedy little Lars can die a slow painful death for all I care. But I actually liked Newsted, Hammet and Hetfield.

I like it better than what I heard off load and st. anger, but it isn't classic metallica still.
