just joined up here. Thought i would share a few pics of the system that i had in my old car before i traded it in. The car was a 2000 Galant. The install was done by me with a great deal of help and advice from a friend that works at a shop in Atlanta.

System include Alpine DVA 7996 with a 7 inch screen molded in above it, front stage was kicker ss components run off an sx700.4. subs were 2 12 inch l7's from 2004 in a slot ported enclosure running off an sx1250.1.

Got pretty loud for front firing subs, with out a fold down rear seat. the front stage imaged fairly well, but i think it could have been better.

New car is an 06 g35x will have the factroy stereo as a source unit. a sinlge kicker sx700.4 will run polk sr 6500's and a sinlge 12" kicker compvr in a ported box. Will start on that and have pics when the amp gets back from kicker for warranty on the digital display.

although a noob to the board been into the car audio field a long time. been intersted in it since i was 16 and that was 14 years ago. been involved in it ever since. been to SVR 3 times and listened to and seen some of the best systems in the world. actually have a lot of pics of past SVR installs if anyone wants to see them let me know an i will post a link.
