amp budget is around 250-300 lol. I don't want a 1000 watt amp either..preferably 900watts or less..
so you have 800 for amp/sub

12 mag ported or 15" sealed? Never heard em....but have read nothing but good about em. Would leave ya with around $350-400 for an amp.

Rlp would leave ya around $500 for amp..... spend $250 on an amp and $250 on some rammat for the trunk....you'll need it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

Haven't heard either of em but I'm sure you would be impressed with either. My 12" avalanche ported would be plenty of output in it as well. Many choices for the $ you have.

You should get 1 15" and put a old school rockford 500a2 or something along those lines on it. Or a old bd500, you can find them cheap and they are powerhouses.

^ i want a 900 watt or less sub because at current, my license plate rattles when I turn it up. and the 1000 watt ones are too expensive =/.

edit: i just looked into the rl-p12's. are these things good? cuz I don't know what RMS or ohm stands for...

do these things hit hard? and hard as in, when i'm in the driver seat, and both 12's are knockin...will it vibrate the air around me and raise my neck hairs, but still listen to quality music and hearing all the lyrics?

I experienced this while listening to my friends 2 12" JL W1's amped with a 900 watt sub. will this be the equivalence, or near equivalence of this?

it will probably destroy that experience.

RMS - Root Mean Square voltage...a measurement of "average power".

Ohm - a measurement of impedance and/or resistance. http://www.bcae1.com has a better explanation.
