Hi there Guys, I am a 44 year old a/c tech from Inverness Florida and **** if I didn't get bit by the audio bug again...lol. I first got the bug back in 1988, I had this little '85 Dodge Colt back then and some kid was selling some Bumper 12's for 50 bucks so I got them and stuck em in my trunk with each one in a cardboard box......hahaha. I had to have me some bump and I didn't have a clue about building boxes. That's how I got into it and I wound up going thru so many different gear configs over the years I cant remember half of what I ran, what got stolen and what got blown from clipping.

Anyways, I've been lurking around here for a while so I figured I would drop a thread an intro myself. I got me a new truck. Well, not new-new...2003, but new to me and it was beggin for some bump as soon as I saw it so here I am, back doing the same ****, blowin money and changing **** around all the time. I really want to have good SQ so that's the direction I am heading in. I grabbed up a pair of IDQ10's from a forum member and they sound great. I am in the process of looking for a good active crossover for my front end so that's got me occupied for now. That and finding a good spot for my tweets to bring up the stage a bit. I am pretty new to the whole SQ building deal so I am learning a lot reading in the forum. I don't really have the money to drop on the high end SQ stuff so I've been scouring Ebay for some of the old school goodies for sale hoping to source my gear there.

Anyways, that's where I'm at and that's my story. Hope to meet some of ya'll along the way.

Welcome. Nice sub pick up, good start. You probably don't need to go old school, good stuff made now as well. If you haven't replaced the deck yet, get the 80prs as it is active capable.
