Lanzar ***** !!!!!!!!!! OVER RATED **** !!! I know I have bench my friends OPTI4000D and it did NOT put out 4000rms with a good elecrical. Lanzar is over rated. so f u buddie.Shows how dumb you are.....
umm opti4k = memphis 4kw/ and SoundStream XXX6500D... also same as a Audiobahn A4KDNLanzar ***** !!!!!!!!!! OVER RATED **** !!! I know I have bench my friends OPTI4000D and it did NOT put out 4000rms with a good elecrical. Lanzar is over rated. so f u buddie.
I have one of those too. The 4x400d, but I haven't been able to get it installed yet.I have not been around these new sub woofers yet, but I am interested in their mini amps.
60hz test tone @ 1 ohm, around 14 volts, 4 yellow top batteries, 150 amp alt, and my trusty DMM.. So I'll say it again, OVER RATED !!!!What kind of testing, Opti's have always put out power for me.
Drew
Prove it then. All your doing right now is spitting a weak game. Anyone who has been in the audio business knows the opti-line does rated and are awesome amps.60hz test tone @ 1 ohm, around 14 volts, 4 yellow top batteries, 150 amp alt, and my trusty DMM.. So I'll say it again, OVER RATED !!!!
u forgot the 1/2 ohm rating. that is where opti amps "badge" their amps. get back to work sonBench test results for OPTI4000D
3516 watts @ 1ohm pulling 432 amps of current, efficiency 57% @ 1ohm.
Long story short is a good 2 & 4ohm amp, wouldn't run at 1ohm. There are more efficient amps out there.
I'm on my job you feel me. So I'll let you make it with that lil comment. Again, efficiency was my whole point in the first place.u forgot the 1/2 ohm rating. that is where opti amps "badge" their amps. get back to work son
See I told you guys they don't put out rated power. I got about the same reading at 1 ohm. I think I got a reading of somewhere around 3400rms.Bench test results for OPTI4000D

IIRC, that reveiwer admitted his PS was at its limit and voltage was sagging to around 12.Bench test results for OPTI4000D

Don't think so. I think the only opti that's designed for 1/2 ohm loads is the 2kd. Which is 85% eff at 1/2 ohm and puts out over 1900w.u forgot the 1/2 ohm rating. that is where opti amps "badge" their amps. get back to work son
Unless it's a JL -- the 57% is fine and it's a "high end" amp.See I told you guys they don't put out rated power. I got about the same reading at 1 ohm. I think I got a reading of somewhere around 3400rms.
57% efficiency is bad for a class d. It should be about 75% at 1 ohm.
