What's up?

I was a member here back in 2004-2007. I got out after my first was born and life took me by storm. I have recently had audio on my mind a lot.

Little about me.

I own a custom gun holster company that I run. 2 kids, married and couldn't be happier. I am from North FL. My last setup in 2007 was a RE SX (12) with a Alpine (Can't Remember). I have a lot of catching up to do.

Well welcome back homie same thing happened to me kids wife and life pulled me out of the game and I didn't have a system of my own for almost 10 years still did a few small installs here and there then one day saw a picture of a sundown nsv3 on Craigslist and that Lit the fire all over again now I am back in trying to do a bigger build than I've ever had anyways I only been here for about a month in this forum in the people on it have helped me tremendously and I hope you have the same experience

Yes sir 10 years this year for me. I was headed home today and had the right song play and that was it. Mentioned it to the wife, her eyes lit up and she gave me the go ahead. I am looking to possibly get me a new to me tahoe here soon and its gonna be game time!

I think after 1999 the 2000+ is when they got shrunk down, and 3rd row added.

Plus the pre 2000 square bodies have the 350 motor and are just all-around a tougher meaner truck pre 2000 Chevy trucks are all there is for me one day I want to go real old school and get a K5 Blazer

Maybe they aren't for you but I have owned 3 different trucks with a 350 three Yukons and a Camaro and everyone was a beast and I didn't have problems out of any but they're not for everybody

I was unfortunate to purchase one from a bad owner..
Had to replace all the freeze plugs, both u-bolts, ujoint on yoke by differential (driveshaft fell off lol), intake gaskets due to coolant, fuel injectors..

That was all in one month before doing internal swaps with a 454 and differential upgrade to 3.73..

I did all my work with a autozone engine lift and 2 ton floor jack [emoji23][emoji23]

**** that ***** I hate to hear that always tough buying a used vehicle like I said I've had pretty good luck with mine but that don't mean everyone is a good one in reality when you're buying a used vehicle no matter what it is you're buying all you can hope for is that it was taken care of cuz if not you're buying somebody else's problems
