A cheap way to get great sound is the '98 model XPLs. I have had 2 15''s for almost two years and they still sound as good as new.

They are on sale for around $100 if you can find them

ive heard the l7's and i dont like the way they sound. they have a nasty bass. i dont know y tho.

well by ur s/n im sure you want kicker subs, i would go with the new vrs out of the two even thou solobarics were nice subs. but would you get anything else? if so you can probably get better speakers then the vrs for same price. if not i would save and get l7. not saying l7s are great sq but what i have heard they sound better then the vrs at higher volumes and get lot louder..... might have been install......
