THE WHOLE THING!!!
So I got my new kicker stuff today (thanks tracy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif), and got it all installed.
New stuff consists of an 8 gauge wire kit, KS series 5 1/4" components, and a zx200.2.
Now getting this stuff in to my truck was a pain, and it took a while to get everything to fit properly in the dash. Unfortunately, i was not comfortable putting my zx200.2 under the passenger seat (the only seat that had enough clearance) because the amp would be pushed up against the foam bottom.
So instead I had to put the amp in between the seats, not a big deal really, I think it looks pretty nice. All i would have to do to make it really nice would build a little rack for it and hide all the wires.
Since I could not fit door pods OR kick panels, I had to settle for the stock dash location. So i made some mounting plates out of 1/4" MDF and got the speakers mounted. I'm not entirely satisfied with the tweeter location, so I'm still playing around with that, but I think they sound pretty ok for just sitting there.
So I got some more playing around to do with that, but overall I think it sounds a lot better than my 6 year old pioneer 4x6's (running off headunit power) that were in there before. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
