- Have been since the beginning.

interesting looking stuff, and I wonder if someone builds the ones in Germany for them?

- For every twenty brands of car audio, there is only one factory they contract with. They are made by Kurt Mueller in Germany, as are a lot of others... including Quart. I have tweeters on a DEI Viper set made by the same company. Amps are made in Korea. Subs used to be made by Credence but are now made at their own plant in Mirramar Florida.

Some subs were made by Credence, some have always been made in house. Their good speakers have pretty much always been of German descent as Gary S mentioned.
