I have the Hertz HSK165 Set also. It's a really good set, the midbass is crazy and the tweeter is clear and loud.

ok.. thanks.. I am not sure if I am going to buy the MLK2 over the MLK165... But I want to know if there a lot of difference... and if MLK2 worth every penny ?

This is one of the best installs I've seen on any 300ZX, Tim. I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do with my '93TT.

I'm new to car audio (very into vintage solid state and hi-fi) and new to 300ZX ownership.

Did you ever consider putting the tweeters behind the door vents? Or maybe that wouldn't sound as good?

Who fabricated your sub enclosure? Can you offer any advice on making one?

I'm toying with the idea of those Hertz ribbons and tweeters in the A pillars. Think they'd fit (with fabrication)? Sound good?

Finally, what'd it take to get the Mille grills in the doors like that? They're perfect.

First congrats on the Z you will love it.

I originally considered going with a three way setup but the Z does not need it due to its size. But Hertz 3 way are a killer setup. Tweeter placement is important thats why the placed in a piller. It sounds killer. My installer works out of Car Tunes in tunes in Tulsa. Can't help you on the grills since the installer customized everything for my car.

Wow, this install is incredible. I toyed with the idea of getting a couple of Mille 3800s and decided my money would be better spent elsewhere. This install makes me wish I would have! That stealth sub box looks amazing. How is the output of that 12?
