New head unit not flush

Currently installing Alpine CDA-9803 into '93 Nissan Maxima. Old unit is a 2 unit ,Clarion tape + separate CD. Old unit sits flush with dash. Problem is new head sticks out when face plate on. No other mounting holes will work. Any easy suggestions?

I have some pics but they will not attach.

did you buy a mounting kit? or just place it in there...

I was using the existing mounting bracket, that holds the old units.

hrmm, u make sure all the wires are not right behind the deck? like push em up/under....

and if u could attach those pics or link to somwhere with them that would be very usefull

you might have to drill new holes to make it sit flush
