New Havoc's or hdc3 12"

i am going to get either a 12" HDC3 or new 12" Havoc.

hdc3 - US amp md.3 or Bxi2006d

OR

Havoc- bxi1606d

the hd will require lots more power, but will it get that much louder in return, or am i better off just getting the havoc and the bxi1606d (or equivalent) amp??? this has been eating me for soooo long. have no reviews on either the new ones, but have faith they will be just fine in SQ, so i want the one that will give me the most SPL possible...goin in an extended cab ranger.

box would be the same for both 2.5^3 @ 30-34hz (havnt decided yet)

any input would be great, i have been doing research on both of these for sooo long and now i just need some final thoughts before i purchase...

first off... go with the us md3 amp. forget about the hifonics. those 2 amps arent even compareable 2 one another.

and what do you mean by "very loud"? Everyone has differing opinions on that.

well knowing the Havoc HAS been released and there has been select people who have witnessed and tested the HDC3. so yeah, this thread should get a lot accomplished. and i would expect someone that knows something about them to reply, not someone who is going to criticize a more than relevant thread. if you dont enjoy, DONT BOTHER. im asking for input on the two possible set ups, not just bullshit.

No one here can tell you how loud either will be. If I had a choice. I would get the Havoc. Been thinking about throwing one in my HT for a while. I wish I had experience with either to help you make a decision. What is the difference in cost between your 2 chosen packages?

well if I were to compare hd3 vs old havoc I'd say hd3 will pwn it it can handle 4-5k the hd3 is more comparable to the 9515 and btl range but have no idea on the new one but I'm sure its gonna be better dj wouldn't put it over his hd3 keep that in mind even if its china parts.

the cost issue is that if i get the HDC3, im gonna have to get a new alternator (which isnt a big deal) i just wanna know if i could get the same justice from an Havoc (1250wrms, wouldnt have to upgrade much, just do the big three) that i could on a HDC3 (atleast 2000wrms)?? i know there is not going to be an official answer right now, but i just want opinions. let me know if you ever end up getting either one.

thats what im affraid of. is that i'll end up getting the Havoc, then when people start installing the HDC3, they just claim its the best.

I had the same decisions to make. I personally chose to go with a more efficient system overall to not have to upgrade the alt or worry about voltage. It is, in the end, up to you though.

If I had to guess. The HDC3 would have an edge in overall loudness, but that is speculation. I don't have all the specs on the driver. If your looking for something that has great SQ, I would look to the Havoc.
