I received today the first of my new items that I ordered...

2 10" Type R's (DVC 4) to replace my 1052 Infinitys. Cant wait to get em in!! Anywho...Any Type R fans have any pointers other then the obvious??

3 cubes each is too big for a 10".

For daily driving, I would do about 1.5-1.75 cubes with about 25 square inches of port per sub. If you want to make a common chamber/port box, then do 3.5 cubes with 50 square inches of port.

The way you posted on how to wire them is fine.

Thanks for the replys! I know the R's are not the most SQ, however what tune should I try to achieve to have the most SPL with best SQ? 50 / 50 ish or so!!

They can certainly achieve that. Very beefy and power hungry. I really like type R.
