Welcome aboard. I visited Dayton a few years back when my brother was working out there. The Air Force Museum was tremendous, wish I had had another day to spend there exploring, I basically had to speedrun the second half there was just so much to see. We also went to Columbus for an NHL game which was very affordable. Here in the northeast you need a trust fund to watch a professional sporting event.

Ohio has historically had a big car audio community, though likely spread out. Big things happened up in Lima and AFAIK American Bass is up in the far north east of the state.
