i have done a couple installs in blazer's and its always subs up port back. this setup is not that impressive. a single L7 with a 350 watt amp in the same car flexed more.nice vids, have you ever tryed sub up, port back? thats what i have with my SX i get a good amount of roof flex also. that sub is pure sexx
this thing still has to break in. there is not much of a break in time for an L7--heard many of them. got my HDC312, please dont compare to a L7-- the Hdc3 is a MUCH MORE powerful sub, and has soooo much more flex than an L7, especially with 350 watts. he did also say that the camera was crappy--another thing to take into account.i have done a couple installs in blazer's and its always subs up port back. this setup is not that impressive. a single L7 with a 350 watt amp in the same car flexed more.
if your are trying to prevent flex than that is a whole different story. for spl, more vibrations on the outside of the car MAY be louder inside the car. facing the subs up is install and car dependent. the reason i do sub up in blazers is because i try to keep the box at seat height and blazer's are very low.also since all the ones you've done were sub up port back..wouldnt you think the roof flex would be alot more cause the sub is pointed to it???
only way to find out is a termlab.thanks..i still dont see why everyone judges a system just by video..and since ive done both of the enclosure types i would know what sounds louder to me..
i like both..and this will be metered at a local show on the 12th of jan...with a tl so i will know the mofo truth!Or maybe he doesn't like high number and likes what sounds better to his ear. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
