Hey guys i just figured I would post a pic of my new toys I got this week... This is half of my new system... I have two IA 40.1's and one DD 9512g.. I still have to get one more sub and two more batteries and I will be good to go... I will also do a build Log and post Vids when done... Looking for the magic 150db mark... I would really like to get 155db so I can beat my buddies system but I dunno if I can with my setup... Its going in a 1996 2door pontiac grand am... Backseat is gone and subs will fire forward..

Well each DD will have its own IA 40.1 running it so hopefully I have enough.. If not i will get two more..

I I don't think you will have a problem with just the one amp each. Keeping your electrical up might be more of an issue. I would assume you have or will be getting a high output alternator.

Ya almost forgot to mention that.. My stock one is on its way out as we speak... I can hear it starting to whine and my voltage is starting to drop so ya Im looking for a new HO as we speak... Im going to be running 4 Stinger SPV70 batteries and a new front battery(Unknown at this time)

Keep it, it will help out with cone rigidity somewhat.

I am running one of the amps right now ... I have it running off of my stock Alt with two Stinger Batteries and I usally stay right around 13.6v... But if i go full tilt i can get down to around 12.9-13.1.. So ya this is why I wont even think about running the second amp until i get a HO alt and two more batteries

Depending what I get first I will.. If i get the HO Alt and batteries first I will but if I get the second sub first then well im not...LOL Maybe I can upgrade this to a 9515G with dual.7 coils... and strap the amps at 1.4ohms.... WOW that would be awsome
