Hey guys. I've been out of the CA game for a while and just recently decided to spend some moola to get back into it. I drive ~40 minutes to work and ~ 40 minutes home so I am spending a lot more time in my car. Currently I have the Alpine CDA-9853, ID XS-28s (highs), and Dayton B652 6.5s I removed from my bookshelf speakers (needed some mids and had these laying around). The doors and trunk are deadened from previous installs. The speakers are run active using the head unit x-over and power. This got me through for the past ~4-5 years without a problem.
Here is what I have ordered:
HU: Pioneer AVH-P3700BHS
Highs: Image Dynamic XS-28 (already have them)
Mids: Image Dynamic CX62
Sub: Image Dynamic ID12D4V3
Sub Enclosure: 1 ft^3 sealed
Amp: Precision Power P900.5
Battery: Kinetik HC1200
Wiring: Stinger 6 channel RCAs and the usual 4awg power/ground, remote wire, speaker wire, fuse holder, etc.
I also ordered a USB/AUX extension to mount next to my cig. lighter for easier access.
I plan on running everything active off of the HU. I am just excited for everything to come in. I plan to hold off on the install until everything arrives so I'm not removing the same panels each time something new arrives. I will try to remember to take pictures so that you guys can see the install in my 2009 Pontiac G5.
