New Eclipse head Units

i believe the new units use a mercury meter or something, and im pretty sure you can by pass enertia.
does the new AVN use all the same wires as the old?? in other words, could i just swap out the unit with my 2004?

Yes, except youll have a few extra wires for the steering wheel controls.
