New concealed carry pistol options

Thinking about getting a new CCW firearm. Will most likely be mostly an IWB gun or cargo pocket carry.

I'm debating between:

Glock 30.....10 rnd mag 45 acp

Glock 36.....6 rnd mag 45 acp and sounds like it has had extraction problems

Walther PPS.....6rnd mag 40 s&w and sounds like it had some spring problems in the first gen, but don't know if it rolled over to the new gen

The glocks have a bit more power being 45 acp, but the walther is just so slim.....

Why not just carry your fists or a Knife? Thats what a real man does.

And how do I know your not going to happen to be that GUY with a GUN?
Anyways, its called learn how to throw knives.
You wouldn't, because I concealed carry. There's tons of us who do it. I have a license to do so, and I hope I never have to use it.

If anything, you should thank us for keeping you safe.

I keep myself safe, I carry this with me everywhere behind my belt.

Out of the ones you mentioned I'd take the Walther. .40 is plenty big enough. Don't even entertain the idiots that think they're tough enough to handle every situation with their bare hands.

Fixed. Some situations can be handled with hands, some cant. But piece of mind is a powerful thing. And if those guns dont have safeties i wouldnt even consider them. Im sorry but its ignorant to make a modern hand gun without a safety. I think the 226 has one, been a few years since i looked at 1.

If I got a glock, I'd get the trigger guard thing that is sold. Basically acts like a trigger safety. It's an aftermarket part that you can buy. So I'm really not too concerne about the trigger safety they employ.

I had looked at the sig p226's and 229's, but they are a bit more expensive, and I know the reliability of the glocks is excellent. Not sure if I want to spend the extra on a sig right now. They are really nice pieces, though.

Sig P226 or other sig product is what i would do, maybe even a beretta.
So what is your view on the p226 vs the p229?

The 229 is a bit smaller, less heavy, and has a stainless slide. The 226 had a steel slide, but I think they are making them with stainless slides now.

And the glock 30 is 1.27" thick where the sig p226 and p229 are 1.5" thick. The glock is in 45acp and the sig's are 40S&W. Not sure why i would go with something more bulky, more expensive, and with less firepower when both are super reliable. **** the sigs are nice looking guns, though.
