new components intead of coaxials

i need i little help in this one i need some components good enough to match my subs because right now i have a ppi dcx 1500.1 powering 2 type r 12" and i have for coaxials pioneer 4 way coaxials 6x8 in the doors been power by an orion 4004 4 channel and the problem is these speakers can't match the type r, i need something a little louder and with better sq but i dont want to spend a fortune also would it be right to have the same size i mean 6x8 or should i change to 6 1/2

what exactly is a your budget

and yes you can change to a 6.5 with an adapter plate whihc is good cuz i dont know of to many decent 6x8 component sets but look into some Diamond Audio, Focal (entry level stuff) Rainbow (soundlines) all good stuff
