Not blaming Victor for anything... and if you guys want to know the truth: I took it to my buddy and he said he'd have to take a look at it and I'd have to leave it with him for a while. He's not too local, so I went to Midas since they had free inspections...

They came back with the bill and it was $1,000. I didn't have them do the work because a) I'm broke and b) didn't seem right to me. I went home and looked up the parts, and it was over 80% off what they were charging me.

Victor is a great seller, he's been answering my text messages with random questions... reason I started this thread was to see my options...

I'm better off with this Blazer, and I'm going to keep it. Just to prevent the flaming, I'll probably have this thread deleted soon. Thanks guys.

it amazes me where kids find this money for cars. i'd personally invest in a car that is 2-3k so you don't loose as much money.

I agree. However my cars in high school "retailed"(used) for anywhere from $7-11k. I'm very happy I bought them too. I made probably $10k off my cars lol.

oh and I say just look around and find like a 98 accord (preferably one owner by someone other than a kid) at a good price.

im 18 and i own 2 cars, and im paying for my entire wall and everything myself. i payed for my mini cooper (daily) and insurance on that, my rents bought my explorer (only like 4k) and they pay insurance on that.

i still have money left over after all payments are paid per month.

and i only make 11 an hr, 40 hrs a week.

my mini = pretty fast and gets like 26+ mpg depending on how u drive. i paid 24 bux the other day to fill completely up, and that was with 93 octane. if i drive right, i can make it last for like 2+ weeks.

my truck, lol, like 50 bux on 89, and it last like 3 days driving like a grandma lol!

if you want sometihng pre-fixed it will break again. Start learning how to do your own stuff on cars becaues as far as i can rememeber even with car audio you were always talking about having people do this and that for you. i remember you getting flammed because of you wanting someone to recone your BLT but in the end yes u reconed it yourself. Same with a car, no matter what you get for that range something will break. I know you cant do everything on a car cause you not a machanic (sp?) but you can do most things. If you want something thats gonna be pre-fixed for a while buy yourself a NEW KIA.

you always run the risk of something being wrong when you buy used cars, especially a car that had been modified and had a salvage title, i personally would've stayed away from that car.
