New car... with Alpine Head Unit

I just recently purchased an 06' Dodge charger... and it came with an Alpine Head Unit, I dont know the exact model number on it, but it is one of the ones that has the usb fed through the glove box. It doesn't have a cd player, but I was wondering if there is anything I could buy and hook up to the USB. Maybe like a portable USB cd player? Idk if this is even possible, but I figured it might be worth a shot.

maybe alpine iDA series? does it have a 2.2" screen on the right side of the unit and a big knob in the middle?

if so, the best thing you can plug into that usb corb is an iPod, straight up. I've got an iDA-x100, it's a very slick head unit for iPod lovers.

Sounds like you should be able to use a USB drive, possible a USB portable hard drive or a IPod...

Use a flash drive or an ipod. Flash drives are good because they're cheap and don't take up much space.

There probably is some kind of way to do that but I don't know how.
