metra makes the kit to put the HU in the pocket. There is a harness that you need though that will turn the dual zone climate control into a single zone. CHeck it out at metraonline.com. BTW, nice ****in car, wish i had one. They're out of my budget as of now.

dont, put it in the tray below the stock HU (if you must go aftermarket) you'll be able to close the lid and hide it easy.

well thats what i meant, but the deck doesnt fit in there (too wide), so im gonna have to remove parts of that pocket.

Why are you so intent on installing that HU? You're going to lose a lot of functionality. It wont be as clean, or as impressive.

yeah that kit looks like it fits right in the pocket. but why do u say i have to lose dual climate control? im not replacing the stockunit, im leaving that in there.

this is a car audio forum, preston...i like good clean audio. and stock unit blow huge dick. also, they dont have nearly as many features as my 9800BT has. and what functionality am i losing without removing the stock deck and just adding an aftermarket?

Why are you so sure that the stock HU sounds like shit? Yes, they're the source unit. But as long as it sounds decent it might not be THAT big of a piece of the equation. It's not like you're running brax or rainbow plat's. I'm guessing everything's possibly going to be drown out by bass, right?

The new integration units that are out have decent features as well i believe.

What will you be losing? Possibly dual zone climate control, ease of use, steering wheel controls.

im sure the stock unit blows b/c i been using it for the past week. it sounds like garbage, it doesnt get loud, and when you crank it high the highs die when the bass hits. it sux. and my mbq's on an orion 500.4 hardly get drownd out even by my L7's on an MD2 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif thats "500 watts" to the compnents, but more like 600. they get loud as ****, and sound good.
