LMAO I kinda figured I would get jokes. Yeah wanted to do somethign differ and still have room in the truck. They would go one on each side of the trunk where it empty space. Wanted to try something new. I get bored easy. I would love to see how it sounds since the sound is traveling down and out. Should make a nice rumble.

That's thinking outside the box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

It's going to take more work to make it as solid as a basic shape that uses lots of right angles, but you know that already.

Go for it, and post pics as you do it. It looks like it will be a fun project. You have a good radial arm saw handy, I guess?

The only thing I'd suggest is a touch more clearance at the bottom. 2.5 inches might actually cause pressure to push back on the driver as it unloads, unless that's your intention.

There are certainly audiophile home sub enclosures that do that on purpose. Maybe some way of raising and lowering the clearance, to tweak it, could be a solution instead of getting frustrated if it doesn't work out with only a 2.5" clearance.

Id go for it..as long as you have a half-decent table saw you could do it pretty easily...and they arent really weird angles or anything, go for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
