i think your best option is to baffle the front, and make it for 2 12's or 1 15 if you want to keep the box. 1 good 15 or 2 12"s will be more than loud enough for most people.

well if had to power a BTL, i would give like 2000-2500 watts daily. Like a kicker zx2500 or whatever puts out similar power. Depends on your coil options tho on which amp to pick

HomeDepot/Lowes has 4" pvc/port plugs that you twist and it widens a rubber center that seals the hole. If you want to keep your box, since you did spend that much on it, use one of those and find a couple of 15s you can use sealed with that volume. You're talking about having a nice amount of power with the rf2000. Power and cone area with decent subs sealed can be very nice. Add polyfill if you'd like. I would go that route if I were you.
